ITW Futura Coatings
Established in 1978, Futura Coatings specializes in developing and manufacturing high performance polyurethane and polyurea coatings, elastomers and structural resins. Futura also epoxies, novolacs, vinyl esters, primers, water based systems and specialty coatings.
In 2003, Futura Coatings joined with ITW (Illinois Tool Works). This expansion provided many positive contributions and benefits, such as access to an elite group of skilled and experienced technology and product development engineers and researchers, that enhanced ITW Futura Coatings ability to service its customers and expand our markets.
The ITW Futura Coatings products feature superior resistance to wear, abrasion, corrosion, impact, chemical resistance and high temperatures. Applications include FGD power plant coatings, pipe line coatings, potable water, waste water, secondary containment, engineered foam systems, surface replication resins, hard coats and composite resins.cialty coatings - many of which are engineered to meet very specific customer applications.
